Event Overview
Welcome message:

Pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus are complex and extensive fields that are changing rapidly. To provide the best care to our patients, we need to keep up with these developments. Every two years, we meet to discuss, review, and update our approach to practical problems, and learn about changes at the leading edge of these specialties.

This year in Vancouver we will address exotropia management, retinoblastoma, childhood corneal dystrophies, retinal electrophysiology in childhood, practical implications of the PEDIG studies, childhood retinal detachment, developments in the treatment of retinal dystrophies, and many other `hot topics’. At the start of each session, and at the end of the conference, interactive case presentations and panel discussions will highlight specific strabismus and pediatric ophthalmology problems.

We have gathered a superb group of speakers, recognized as leaders in the fields of strabismus, pediatric ophthalmology, genetics, electrophysiology, and corneal disease. Our guests will share their insights with us over this two-day conference. The limited number of attendees, ample question time, and interactive forum-style setting will facilitate communication and maximize learning opportunities.

We hope you will join us for what promises to be a memorable event!
