The Kerry Hotel Pudong is the venue for ISOPP 2018. Located at the centre of the Pudong, the hotel is ideally placed for Symposium for participants to experience Shanghai’s vibrancy. Pudong is a district of Shanghai located east of the Huangpu River across from the historic city center of Shanghai in Puxi. The name refers to its historic position as "The East Bank" of the Huangpu River, which flows through central Shanghai.
A few minutes walk away, the Metro line will transport you to The Bund in less than 15 minutes, or the urbane French Concession in about 25 minutes. The new Maglev High Speed Train takes you to Pudong International Airport in 30 minutes door to door.

Abstract Submission and Review Timeline
The deadline for abstract submission is Tuesday, November 7, 2017, midnight UTC. Peer review by the ISOPP Research Committee will take place between Wednesday, November 8 and Monday, December 11. The submitting author will be notified of acceptance by email the week of December 11, 2017.
Presenting Author Registration
The presenting author MUST register for ISOPP 2018 by Monday, January 29, 2018 or the abstract will automatically be withdrawn.
Publication of Abstracts
All accepted abstracts will be published in an issue of the Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice provided the presenting author registers for the Symposium by Monday, January 29, 2018. By submitting an abstract, you consent to the publication of this abstract.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
During the abstract submission process, you will be asked to disclose any conflict of interest.
The first author MUST be the presenting author.

Process Improvement/Pharmacoeconomics (PR): includes drug preparation and delivery, projects to enhance patient care or improve effectiveness or efficiency of pharmacy services; cost-benefit analyses; cost-effectiveness analyses
Clinical Science (CS): includes oncology/pharmacy practice; MUEs; innovative patient care services/activities; unusual/unique clinical and/or management cases; projects to document pharmacy interventions
Translational/Basic Science (TS): pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenomics
Trainee (TR): Student/Resident Fellow/Pharmacy intern/pharmacist-in-training, etc.
Encore Presentation (EN): For data/abstract that has previously been presented at another meeting or published in profession journal
The abstract title must be less than 150 characters. If the title is longer than 150 characters, you will not be able to submit your abstract. Please use title case e.g. Upper and Lower Case and NOT UPPER CASE.
The abstract length is limited to 250 words not including the abstract title, author names or affiliations.
The submission system will prompt you to follow the following abstract format:
Abstracts must describe completed research (abstracts that contain results and conclusions).
Abstracts are accepted in English only.
Number of Submissions
There is no limit to the number of abstract submissions.
Abstract submission deadline 2017-12-20
You will not need to print and carry your poster(s) to Shanghai! Posters will be displayed as electronic posters (e-posters) instead of traditional paper posters.
If your abstract is accepted for poster presentation, you will be asked to submit an e-poster file to the ISOPP abstract management system, which is very simple:
You create your poster in Microsoft PowerPoint (5 slides). Once created, you upload your PowerPoint file using the abstract system’s existing password protected upload feature. Detailed directions will be provided in the poster acceptance notice.
The uploaded PowerPoint files will be converted into individual e-poster PDF files to preserve your content and formatting (including embedded video files). These individual PDFs will be combined into a single file and uploaded onto viewing stations.
E-posters will be on display on viewing stations, consisting of large screens on stands with laptops, and set up in the ISOPP 2018 Exhibit and Poster Hall for viewing on Wednesday, April 11 and Thursday, April 12. The combined e-posters PDF file will also be made available to attendees online, so posters can be viewed at their leisure during and after the Symposium.
Poster Viewing Session – Mandatory Presentation
A Poster Viewing Session will be held in the afternoon of Thursday, April 12. Poster presenters will be allotted a 5-minute timeslot to present their e-poster, followed by two minutes for questions. Presentation of your poster is mandatory. Once the presenting author registration deadline has passed, a presentation schedule will be shared with presenters and registrants.
