On behalf of the Organizing Committee of Saudi Urological Association Meeting (SUA2018), we would like to extend our warmest welcome to you all to participate in this international meeting, which will be held in Hotel Le Meridien, Al Khobar, from 21st - 23rd February 2018.



SUA2018 is the 30th annual meeting of the Saudi Urological Association (SUA) under the aegis of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University. With special collaboration from global societies like European Association of Urology (EAU), Societe Internationale d'Urologie (SIU), Arab Association of Urology (AAU) and Middle East Society for Sexual Medicine (MESSM). 


The Scientific Committee of the 30th SUA meeting, themed as "Global Urological Trends in Saudi Perspective" is planning a very comprehensive program catering for all specialties of Urologists, Uro-Gynecologists, Uro-Pathologists, Uro-Radiologists, Medical Oncologists, General Practitioners and Medical Students that will deliver state of the art lectures, update presentations, postgraduate courses, workshops, panel discussions, interactive sessions, industry sponsored sessions, research and abstract presentations. The program covers all fields related to Andrology, Endo-urology, Neuro-urology, Pediatric urology, Reconstruction, Renal transplantation and Uro-oncology. 


The pharmaceutical Industry is also committed in their support of our meeting that will host a large exhibit area and many attractive opportunities to share their products and knowledge with the attendees. 


This year, the Organizing Committee is working hard to infuse new dimensions to make this event a stimulating occasion both scientifically and socially. SUA 2018 conference invites free paper / scientific research / abstracts to be presented in the conference. The scientific committee shall review each abstract and the presenters shall be notified of the outcomes and approved authors can be invited to present POSTERS depending upon originality and appeal of the scientific work.

Editorial Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee through a blind review process and scored based upon the following criteria:


Pertinence:Originality, Actuality, Useful Results


Structure:Introduction, Aim, Material & Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion


TERMS AND CONDITIONS


The scientific committee reserves the right to make the final decision about abstract acceptance and its scheduling into the program based on topics and time constraints.

All abstracts must be prepared using the abstract submission guidelines.

Each abstract submission must indicate if the material was published or presented in any prior conferences or if it received any awards.

All presenters must register to attend the conference within a maximum of 2 weeks of acceptance of the abstract and be present at the time of the conference.

A certificate of appreciation will be given to presenting Author(Only) to honor their presentation.

Presenters must not use the session as a marketing opportunity for products\equipment.

IMPORTANT NOTES


The submission of an abstract affirms that all authors named in the abstract have agreed to its submission for presentation at the 30th SUA Annual Meeting and will be published further in various conference materials etc


It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure the abstract is in perfect order with no errors in spelling or grammar, as revisions will not be accepted. Abstracts will not be corrected.


Accepted abstracts may be captured and such audiovisual material will be used as deemed appropriate. All submitted abstracts are considered under non-exclusive use for various conference activites and publications such as abstract book, program, content capture etc.


Submission of an abstract constitutes the author's commitment to present the abstract as accepted. Expenses associated with the preparation, submission and presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the author/presenter.


Submitted abstracts are graded on scientific merit and originality. Abstracts must be written in English and, if accepted, presented in English.


The SUA30 Program Committee will determine the format of the presentation. Accepted abstracts are assigned for presentation at a podium or poster session.


Publication of the complete study upon which the abstract is based in a journal or electronic publication before presentation is strictly prohibited and will result in outright rejection of the abstract. Multiple abstracts by the same authors based on the same study population or data will also be rejected outright.


CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND DISCLOSURE STATEMENT:


All authors must disclose Conflicts of interest. The electronic submission process will not allow abstracts to be submitted without this information being completed for each author listed on the abstract.
