It gives me a great pleasure to welcome you to the Gulf Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Fifth Annual Clinical Congress to be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates during the period October 5-7, 2017.
Building on your contribution to the success of the previous four editions of the Clinical Congresses, we are delighted to welcome you in the bustling metropolitan City of Dubai. The 2017 edition has taken a graceful step towards the international arena in order to deliver a higher calibre congress. The scientific committee has compiled a rich and versatile program with plenty of educational opportunities in the growing and exciting field of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
Through a culmination of collective efforts, an outstanding three-day program was designed to deliver a high-level scientific content with several state of the art lectures, plenary sessions, oral and poster presentations, clinical debates and clinical practice symposia. The sessions provide major updates and state-of-the art presentations delivered by reputable international and regional keynote speakers.
We are also delighted this year to invite delegates to participate in multiple educational opportunities during the AACE Gulf Chapter Conference events which include a pre-conference course on insulin pump providing healthcare professionals with the most current scientific and technical update in regards to insulin pump therapy.

Registration opens Wednesday, October 4 at 16:00-20:00 at the registration desk at the entrance of the event convention center and will continue the next day during the congress starting from 08:00.
Attendee’s will receive their name badge, which includes the bar code necessary to receive CME credit, program, congress bag and other information upon arrival and check-in at the registration desk.
Registration passes will increase by USD 50-100 after August 17 when the standard rate applies
Registration for accompanying person can be bought at USD 200 for the full conference pass.

The Grand Hyatt Hotel stand tall on Dubai Creek and is ideally located for business close to Dubai International Airport at a distance of 10 minutes drive. The hotels are ideal for medical meetings, providing all facilities to accommodate doctors and ensure the execution of a top-notch meeting.

Depending on the number of submitted abstracts and their quality, the abstracts will be selected for either platform or for poster presentation. All accepted abstracts will be distributed in the congress abstract book.
You are invited to submit abstracts for the Fifth Annual Clinical Congress to be held at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates during the period of October 5-7, 2017
Abstracts submissions are possible until August 3, 2017 (12 AM Dubai time +4 GMT). Any abstract received after the deadline will not be accepted. Upon completion of evaluation an ‘Accepted’ or ‘Rejected’ email will be sent to each application submitted. The result of the evaluation will be send approximately 14 days after deadline submission.
All abstracts accepted will be published in the Ibnosina Journal of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences

Oral presentations will be for a maximum of 8 minutes with 2 minutes for questions/comments.
Oral presenters need to send their powerpoint presentation 6 days prior to the congress to email@example.com with Subject: AACE2017-Presentation-OCX.X example: AACE2017-Presentation-OC2.2
Presenting authors should be present at their designated hall 15 minutes before the start of the session in which they will present to ensure enough time to mount their presentations for electronic projection.
All presentations should be made available in Microsoft Office Power point in a flash USB disk drive or CD. Speakers may not use your own laptop nor use a MAC version. Please ensure the presentation available in duplicate media to prevent bad surprises on the day.
Presenting authors should be present at their designated hall 15 minutes before the start of the session in which they will present to ensure enough time to mount their presentations for electronic projection in case they do not send it before hand
The exhibition floor plan will follow a first contracted first served basis. The exhibition area is located at Baniyas 3 (last section) and the pre-function area.
Exhibitors need to fill in hotel non-liability forms in order to receive access to the venue during setup.

Sponsors are required to fill in a security clearance and compliance form on behalf or by their third-party booth designers/builders. The forms are provided by the venue in order to access the exhibition area. In the case forms are not provided no guarantee during setup can be made
