Abu Dhabi, the dynamic capital of the United Arab Emirates, will host the 7th Abu Dhabi Advanced Rheumatology Review Course (ADARRC) from 21-23 October, 2017.
This structured, postgraduate platform is designed as a one-stop shop for busy rheumatologists and rheumatologists-in-training. It is a scientific, educational program which brings together up to 20 of the world’s foremost, published experts in adult and paediatric rheumatology to share their latest insights, research findings and case studies, through an intensive series of lectures and workshops.

The Conference is designed to help Rheumatologists and Rheumatology trainees to introduce them to the world of Rheumatology. The submission of abstracts is opened to consultants, specialists, general practitioners, adult or paediatric Rheumatology professionals, residents and fellows in all specialities.
Abstracts should focus on research work related to broad areas of rheumatic & musculoskeletal disorders (RMD) or interesting clinical cases in the following topics:
Clinical Practice of Rheumatology
Teaching of Rheumatology
Basic and translational science that contributes to the understanding of disease pathogenesis
Mechanisms and efficacy of therapeutics
Delivery of healthcare to patients with musculoskeletal and rheumatic disease
ADARRC 2017 will allow authors to submit original, encore and late-breaking abstracts:
Original abstracts:Unpublished basic or clinical research and data, practice abstracts, retrospective studies, or case studies.
Encore abstracts:Abstracts previously presented at another conference or previously published in a peer-reviewed journal no more than six months prior to the ADARRC abstract submission deadline of September 1.
*Late-breaking abstracts:Cutting-edge original research that features the latest science that will have an immediate impact upon researchers and practitioners. Abstracts should be submitted during the regular abstract submission period.
*ADARRC 2017 acknowledges that some rapidly advancing research may include findings that will not be available at the time of abstract submission deadline of September 1, 2017.
Applicants will have their efforts reviewed, critiqued and evaluated by world-renowned Rheumatology experts. Top abstracts will be selected by ADARRC 2017’s international faculty judging panel, who will be presiding as the lead judges and moderators. The scientific committee will identify which abstracts will be presented as oral presentation and which abstracts will be selected for posters. Those chosen by the scientific committee as oral presentations, will be invited to present their abstracts in the presence of their peers and the international judges.
Retraction and Deletion of abstracts
If necessary, authors may delete a submitted abstract, but only before the abstract submission deadline – Friday, 01 September 2017.
After the deadline all submitted abstracts will be reviewed and accepted abstracts will be published. After the abstract deadline, the authors will have to provide a retraction letter should they wish to retract their abstract.
