Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) #

Edinburgh, UK

Situated at the heart of Scotland's elegant and historic capital city, the EICC is one of the world's outstanding venues for conferences, conventions and exhibitions.

Our purpose-built centre offers the very best in facilities and technology; and our experienced, enthusiastic team will help to ensure your event's success. At the EICC, we bring people together and get them talking. We create a sense of momentum. We remember every detail. And we conjure up those defining moments that delegates remember long after they have left. We would love you to visit us and see for yourself. In the meantime, we hope our website gives you an idea of what is possible for your event.

What do we mean to Edinburgh?

The EICC is owned by the City of Edinburgh Council and operates as an independent commercial venture. With its history, architecture and festivals, Edinburgh has long been popular with tourists but the EICC was built to attract more business visitors. Since opening in 1995, we have welcomed over a million delegates through our doors for more than 2,500 events, generating £400m in economic impact for the city. But perhaps more importantly, the EICC is also a source of great pride for a city that has flourished through celebrating its past whilst always looking to the future.

Event Overview
Welcome message:

WELCOME

We are delighted to announce further details of the programme for the 98th Annual Meeting of the British Association of Dermatologists, taking place 3rd to 5th July at the EICC Edinburgh venue.

We hope that you will agree that this is looking a superb programme and offers something for everyone working in Dermatology.

We will continue with some of the new initiatives introduced in Liverpool and hope to build on the record attendance we achieved in 2017.

Please have a look at the programme tab on the left hand side to see the overview of sessions and details of the Guest Speakers. Following positive feedback we have continued to spread the special interest groups throughout the week, but please check the which day as there have been some adjustments to this.

We will be continuing with the 'Hot Topics' and would encourage you all to download the meeting app that will be launched in May. We have some exciting new initiatives planned, including a lunchtime journal club and the return of guided poster walks.

Please now proceed to the registration pages and we look forward to seeing you in Edinburgh in July. We hope to have record numbers of delegates in 2018 so please encourage your colleagues to sign up and take advantage of the BAD's new membership rates and reduced conference rates for GPs and Allied Healthcare Professionals.

We hope to see you in Edinburgh,

Dr Nick Levell                                                                  Dr Tanya Bleiker

President                                                                         Clinical Vice-President
