On behalf of the Abdominal Radiology Group of Australia and New Zealand (ARGANZ), I’d like to invite you to join us at our ARGANZ 2017 Meeting to be held at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, (Formerly Four Points by Sheraton, Darling Harbour, Sydney) from Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 February 2017.
We are proud and thrilled to have Professor Richard Baron, Professor of Radiology of the University of Chicago Medical Centre and current President of RSNA, as our international guest speaker. Professor Baron is one of the world’s foremost authorities in Liver Imaging and he will be supported by a National faculty of recognised Abdominal Imaging experts.
A comprehensive and stimulating program has been developed to cater to all interests and experience and will run for 2 full days over the weekend. A new format has been adopted on the Saturday which will include concurrent sessions in CT Colongraphy, Prostate and Gynaecological Imaging, which will allow in-depth teaching for delegates who have a special interest in these fields.
After much positive feedback from Radiology trainees following the 2016 ARGANZ meeting in Fremantle, we are continuing with the “School of ARGANZ” session on the Sunday morning, an interactive teaching and mock viva examination session conducted for trainees by current College Abdominal Imaging examiners. This is a session not to be missed.
For the first time, ARGANZ will also conduct a series of Pre-conference workshops on Friday 10th February 2017. These will entail short lectures and case based workstation review and teaching in Rectal MRI, Prostate MRI, Liver and Pancreas Imaging. Places will be limited and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be an additional workshop fee and delegates will be required to register for the weekend conference.
Please make sure to check back to this page regularly and keep up to date with the latest program developments.
I encourage you to take advantage of this world-class meeting to further your knowledge in abdominal imaging by attending ARGANZ 2017.
On behalf of the committee, I look forward to seeing you in Sydney!
