One of the hottest new topics in biomedical research is “transkingdom” interactions between viruses and bacteria in the gut and how they influence health and disease.
Co-sponsored by ASM and the American Society for Virology (ASV), this all-new conference will bring together scientists from different disciplines to discuss cutting–edge research findings related to this hot topic. Sessions will include: understanding the cellular and organismal intestinal host response; the interplay between enteric viruses, pathogenic bacteria and the microbiota; novel approaches to model intestinal infections; and more.
American Society For Microbiology (ASM) American Society for Virology (ASV) Conference on Interplay of Viral and Bacterial Pathogens is organized by American Society For Microbiology (ASM) and American Society for Virology (ASV) and would be held during May 1 - 4, 2017 at Hyatt Regency Bethesda, Bethesda, Maryland, United States of America.
