This meeting will feature the JLO Visiting Professor, Professor Robert Briggs, Clinical Associate Professor, University of Melbourne.
This will be followed by a panel of expert UK otologists will be put under the microscope and quizzed by internationally recognised neuro-radiologist Mr Steve Connor from London.
Mr Tim Mitchell and Mr Joe Toner will then address the responsibilities of the medical expert witness and the principles of liability as well as whether the UK guidelines for assessment of disability in noise induced hearing loss should be amended in the light of recent audiological research.
