Practical Recommendations in Immuno and Molecular Oncology (PRIMO) Annual Meeting is organized by PRIMO Meetings and will be held during Jan 31 - Feb 3, 2018 at Wailea Beach Resort – Marriott, Maui, Maui, Hawaii, United States of America.


The target audience for this medical event is Academic and Community Practitioners, as well as Registered Nurses, from all oncology specialties, treating all disease sites involved in the care of patients with cancer.


Learning Objectives are : 


After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

• Describe the rationale for mechanisms of action for molecular targeted and immunologic therapies used to treat cancer today

• Summarize recent advances in targeted and immunologic treatment of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors

• Identify patients who are appropriate candidates for targeted and immunologic therapies

• Implement strategies to reduce treatment-related toxicities, and optimize patient outcomes

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Wailea Beach Marriott from Wednesday, January 31, 2018 through Friday, February 3, 2018. Reservations must be accompanied by a two-night deposit, guaranteed with a major credit card. The Wailea Beach Marriott will not hold any reservations unless secured with a deposit.


ROOM RATES


Hotel room rates are for single or double occupancy, and are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 13.416%) in effect at the time of check-out.


Maximum room occupancy is four (4) persons. Charges for a third/fourth person are $40.00 per person per night, with the exception of children under the age of 18 years when accompanied by a paying adult.


The below rates will be made available to event attendees for three days before and after the official program dates on a space-and rate-available basis.

Cancellations within 72 hours prior to arrival will be charged two night’s room and applicable tax.

Abstracts must be submitted via e-mail to abstracts@primomeeting.org by  October 15, 2017 in .doc or .docx format. The title of the file must include the author's name (eg, Smith_PRIMO_abstract.docx). No fax or hard copy submissions will be accepted. Authors will be notified within 14 business days of submission date as to whether their abstract has been accepted. If you do not receive notification of the status of your abstract within that time frame, please contact us at support@primomeeting.org.

The entire abstract must fit on ONE page.


Paper Size: 8.5" x 11" (letter size)

Margins: 1" (top, bottom, left, and right)

Text/Paragraph Alignment: Left justify and single space

Font: 10 to 12 pt Times New Roman or Arial

Word Count: 300 words (not including the title and author information)

The abstract should include:


Abstract title—should be sentence case (ie, only the first letter of the title should be capitalized)

Author(s) name(s)— initials or first names must precede last name

Author's institutional affiliations including city, state, and country

Four distinct headers—Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions

The body of the abstract should be in a single paragraph. If sub-headers are used, they should be within that single paragraph and in all-caps, not bolded (ie, METHODS).

Complete mailing address—including city, state, country, and zip code

Telephone number

E-mail address

Each author may submit ONE abstract for the conference. While attendance is not mandatory, PRIMO Education will provide ONE FREE registration for every accepted abstract.

The PRIMO co-chairs and faculty will NOT edit abstracts for typing, spelling, or grammatical errors. Please carefully check all text for errors before submitting your abstract.

Case reports, trials in progress, or encore abstract presentations are acceptable for submission, as long as the information is original.

Authors assume complete responsibility for the data at the time of submission.
