Join the SDPA, the Dermatology PA Foundation and the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) for the 4th Annual Miles for Melanoma 5K Run/ 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. AHCP A-PReP Psoriasis Recognition Program
Jointly provided by National Psoriasis Foundation and North American Center for Continuing Medical Education, LLC, the Psoriasis Recognition Program is designed specifically for PAs to help enhance their skills in caring for those with psoriasis. Physician Assistants can attend this complimentary regional Recognition Program on Thursday November 11th to earn up to 5 CME credits.

Abstracts are independently reviewed by the CME Review Panel and accepted based on scientific value and educational need. The presentation of new concepts and unique observations are an integral part of the Conference’s continuing education program.
You may also submit 8.5” x 11” handouts (no color) of the abstract or related poster for inclusion in the attendee’s conference syllabus. The syllabus will be distributed to 350+ attendees.
Abstract submission deadline 2017-11-29
Abstracts must be submitted as a Microsoft Word or PDF document. Margins: 1 inch top, bottom, left and right, single spaced; laser printer quality. No color.
Font size must be Arial, 12 point
500 word maximum. When finished with your abstract, count the words to ensure you have not exceeded the prescribed limit. The abstract should contain the following:
Introduction that states the purpose of the study
Brief description of the procedure/study
Brief description of the results; and d) conclusion
Tables or illustrations may not be included in abstracts. Abstracts will NOT be displayed on easel or stands.

Inclusion in syllabus
8.5” x 11” black and white handouts (double-sided, no color) of these related abstracts may be submitted for inclusion in the attendee conference syllabus. Please submit abstracts upon approval for inclusion in the attendee conference syllabus in PDF format. Submissions may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Syllabus, 2015 SDPA Annual Fall, Abstract Title. Only those submitted will be included in the attendee conference syllabus. The deadline for submitting your materials for inclusion in the conference syllabus is Friday, October 2, 2015.
POSTER FORMAT & GUIDELINES
Poster Submission Fee
A fee of $200.00 per poster is required from each company/industry presenting. Fee covers rental, delivery, setup, removal, and state tax of stands. Non-member PA fee is $100.
NO charge for SDPA Members and Student Members unless the poster/study is associated with company/industry support.
Poster Specifications and Size Requirements
Poster panels are 4’ wide x 2’ high. Posters must not exceed these dimensions.
Include all authors and their affiliation.
Any display at the SDPA Annual Fall Dermatology Conference in which the cost is underwritten by a pharmaceutical company or other entity must avoid commercialism. Drugs, instrumentation, or devices are not to use trade names. If such situations occur, the exhibitor is responsible to identify and clearly state on the display that a portion or portions of the cost were provided by the commercial company named.
Responsibility for Damage and Loss
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Events Made Simple, LTD are not responsible for any damage, destruction, loss or theft of items or property before, during or after the dates and times of the conference at any location within or near the exhibit hall property. Representatives will make no claim and will hold harmless the aforementioned entities of the conference.

Each representative is responsible for setting up and removing their posters.
Please remove your posters from the display area between the hours of 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday November 14, 2015. Posters must be removed by 3:00 PM. You are not allowed to remove your poster until 2:00PM; failure to comply with this request may result in the loss of poster privileges at future meetings. Any posters that are not removed or left behind will be discarded by the hotel.
