Toronto Rehabilitation Institute's annual Traumatic Brain Injury Conference is a national conference dedicated to advance knowledge on traumatic brain injury in scientific research and clinical care.
Join us on February 2, 2018 and engage with eminent researchers and renowned scholars on cutting edge topics in traumatic brain injury.
The Planning Committee is finalizing a new and exciting program involving interactive discussions, workshops, plenary sessions, poster abstracts and rapid podium presentations.
Be part of the action by submitting an abstract and share your research with your colleagues. Abstracts will be considered for both oral and poster presentations.
Letters of Invitation for international delegates
We regret to inform that we do not issue letters of invitation to international delegates. Upon registration and payment you will receive a confirmation email. If you are an international delegate and wish to receive a refund upon withdrawal from the conference, please note that administrative fees will apply. Refunds will not be issued after January 11th, 2018. Therefore, we encourage you to finalize travel arrangements prior to registering.
Registration includes continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, lunches, conference material and a certificate of attendance (accessed electronically).
Please note, if you have indicated that you have a requirement (dietary/accessibility etc.) we will do our best to accommodate this request; however, an additional fee may be applied to the individual if required. Requests will be handled on a case by case basis.

A special group rate of $189.00/night plus taxes is being offered for the evening of February 1, 2018 at the Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Downtown Hotel. Specific Guidelines for Poster Displays
Displays may consist of a one-piece poster, or a two dimensional collection of smaller pieces which utilize the panel as a background.
Posters must be HORIZONTAL. The display’s overall size must not exceed the panel dimensions (72" wide x 36" high or 6ft x 3ft).
Handouts may not be left on the floor in front of the display.
Business card or brochure holders may be attached to the display panel.
Displays will be showcased during the conference breaks and lunch.

Oral Rapid Podium Abstract Presentation Guidelines
You will have exactly 5 minutes to present
If you are not done after 5 minutes, you will be interrupted by the moderator.
Due to the quick successive presentation format, please limit your presentation to PowerPoint.
A laptop and projector will be provided for your use and all of the oral presentations will be loaded onto the computer in advance in the correct order.

The 2018 Traumatic Brain Injury Conference will take place on February 2, 2018 at the Beanfield Centre at the Toronto Exhibition.
