It is a great honour and pleasure for the Hungarian Association of Nurse Anesthetists and Intensive Care Nurses (HANA) to host the 13th World Congress of Nurse Anesthetists in Budapest in 2018.
HANA has been organised several successful scientific meetings in the past 20 years, and we do believe that Budapest will be an attractive location for such a worldwide meeting of professionals.
Tha Scientific Organising Committee insists to organise a congress full of memorable moments, and hopes both the scientific and social programs will meet your interests.
The main topics of the congress will vary to fullfill every nurse anesthetists’ expectations worldwide and provide the opportunity to exchange participants’ experiences, share their practical and scientific knowledge.

We don’t accept Online Abstracts
Congressline Ltd. as the Congress Office has been appointed as the official hotel accommodation agent for the WCNA2018 and will handle the related reservations. Hotels of various categories are available for participants of WCNA2018. All hotels are located within a reasonable distance by walk or public transportation from the venue.
Hotel reservations are on a “first come, first-served” basis. Please book your accommodation as soon as possible since June is a popular touristic period in Budapest and the rooms in many hotels are limited. All rates are shown per room per night including breakfast, 18% VAT and City tax. Extras are to be paid directly at the hotel reception before departure.
Please consider: if you visit different hotel reservation sites on the web (booking sites or hotels’ own sites), please note that the prices listed there first are usually do not include all the local taxes or breakfast costs.
To make a Reservation please fill the Online Registration & Hotel Reservation Form.
Full pre-payment is required to guarantee the reservation. After the reservation and payment received, each participant will receive a confirmation from the Congress Office by email.
Any modification requests should be sent to the Congress Office. Once modified on-site, the actual final cost of the stay and the extras should be paid directly at the hotel reception upon departure.
Hotel Accommodation must be paid until 15 May, 2018 the latest.
In case you share the room with another congress participant, it is possible for each participant /roommate to pay only the half of the total hotel expenses. This option only available if both participants are registered. Please indicate this request as a note in your accommodation reservation.

Participants are invited to submit abstracts for presentations which fall within the scope of the WCNA2018. Please indicate the preference for free-communication (oral) or for poster presentation.
Abstracts can be submitted in the following topics:
Perioperative Pain Management
Donor Management and Organ Transplantation
Difficult Airway Management
Safety and Quality Issues of Anesthesia
Challenges of Anesthesia in the Day Surgery
Progress/Issues in Nurse Anesthesia Education
Nurse Anesthesia Practice
Important Requirements (please check carefully!)
You may submit as many abstracts as you like.
Abstracts should be written in English and the authors are responsible for the content and the language quality of the abstract.
Abstracts will be printed and published as they are submitted. Abstract title will be subject to a spell check if the abstract is selected for presentation.
Abstracts for free-communication presentations will be included in the main programme and are limited to 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes’ discussion.
Posters will be available for viewing throughout the duration of the conference. Best posters will be aknowledged by the IFNA Education Committee and Practice Committee. CLICK HERE find resources to create an effective poster at the IFNA website.
All accepted abstracts (free-communications and posters) will be published in the proceedings of the WCNA2018 congress.
If changes to your abstract are necessary, you can make them in the on-line abstract submission system during the submission period, after log in and choosing the „Modify” button. If changes are necessary after the end of the on-line submission period, please notify the Congress Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Abstracts received will be reviewed according to subject categories for content, relevance and adherence to abstract guidelines.
Presenters of accepted abstracts must register for the Congress by the early-bird deadline.
Presenters who are unable to attend the congress should arrange another person to present the paper.
Decision on acceptance will be notified before 31 March, 2018.
Please note, that all accepted posters has to be uploaded (pdf finals) latest two weeks prior the congress.
Abstracts can only be submitted electronically by using the on-line abstract submission page.
The exhibition will be open on 18-20 June 2018 at the congress venue. Delegates will have the opportunity to meet representatives of related institutions/companies at their stands.
