On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the 11th International Conference on Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD 2018) to be held on 14-17 February, 2018 in Vienna, Austria.


The world of diabetes treatment is evolving at a dynamic pace that requires harmonization with research, technical advances and devices innovations. Over the last 10 years, the annual ATTD meeting has become the premier international forum to present and discuss innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in this field.


The ATTD brings together clinicians, such as diabetologists, endocrinologists as well as pediatricans and family medicine practitioners, scientists, engineers, start-ups, investors, medical corporations, regulators and payers from all over the world who take part in the conference, in order to share knowledge and develop collaborations.


Presentations and discussions will be given by many distinguished faculty in the field, and will include topics such as: glucose sensors, closed-loop systems, artificial pancreas, advisors, devices for diabetic prevention, new insulin analogues and delivery systems and insulin pumps and more.


ATTD2018 promises to be an outstanding scientific meeting and we are delighted to welcome you take part in it, in the exciting and bustling city of Vienna.

Submission Info

Participants interested in presenting an Oral or E-Poster presentation are invited to submit an abstract. All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Abstract Review Committee and may be accepted for Oral Presentation, E-Poster Presentation, Read by Title or rejected.


PRESENTATION TYPES AVAILABLE:


ORAL – refers to abstracts accepted for oral presentation at the podium in dedicated Oral Presentation Sessions. 


E-POSTER -  electronic poster presentation on large screens in the E-Poster Area to be viewed during the Conference.  


E-POSTER DISCUSSION- refers to abstracts accepted for E-Poster Presentation, which will be assigned by the Abstract Review Committee, to be presented on large screens in the E-Poster Area at dedicated E-Poster sessions during break times.


E-Poster presenters who register by the early bird registration deadline will also be eligible to present a paper Poster at the Conference. Additional information will be sent to the submitters in due course.


ATTD 2018 is inviting companies dealing with CLINICAL DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS/ADVISORS to submit abstracts to be presented during the meeting. Accepted abstracts will be presented at a special space in the Posters hall in the venue, and presenters will have the opportunity to give a 5-minutes oral introduction of about 4-5 slides in a session dedicated to this topic. 



All accepted abstracts will be published in the peer-reviewed journal Diabetes Technology & Therapeutics, published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., Publishers. 


The Journal is indexed in PubMed.


All ATTD 2018 Conference attendees will be given an 'access token' to receive 2 months' free access to the Journal online, including the entire journal archive, and an opportunity to subscribe at a discount.
