Event Overview
Welcome message:

Dear Friends,

With the history and experience of 10 International Congresses behind us, we are now excited to be organizing the 11th International Congress on Autoimmunity in the sunny city of Lisbon, Portugal on May 16-20, 2018.

Those who have been following the course of the Autoimmunity Congresses know that in 2008, the 6th Congress was held in Porto, Portugal with amazing success and close to 2000 participants from around the world. We are delighted to be returning to this warm and dynamic country, this time to the capital city of Lisbon, famous for its tradition, cuisine and hospitality.

Portugal has traditionally played a leading role in advancing knowledge about autoimmune diseases and the country has a very strong autoimmunologist community, composed of rheumatologists[JM1] , internists, immunologists, nephrologists and others. Our Faculty will include several highly respected local specialists, alongside a great number of international experts, sharing the common goal of spreading and exchanging knowledge about the latest developments in autoimmunity.

The International Congress on Autoimmunity is the largest multidisciplinary congress that discusses all aspects of the related diseases under one roof, offering courses and lectures by some of the world's most distinguished experts. At the same time, the Congress prides itself on providing a stage for young upcoming talents to present their research to a first-rate audience.

In 2018 we will introduce the Academy of Autoimmunity, a systematic pre-congress course on various diagnostic and clinical aspects of autoimmunity. The course will be directed by the most sought-after teachers in the field.

Join us and enjoy the inspiring atmosphere of medical science among old and new colleagues: share, learn and network to build the future of autoimmunology at the 11th International Congress on Autoimmunity!

Looking forward to welcoming you in Lisbon.

Sincerely,
