12th Sedation and Ultrasound Guided Regional Blocks in the ED
For Emergency and Acute Physicians on Monday 12 June 2017 in central London. Practical focus on monitoring, standards, medico-legal aspects, procedures, pharmacology, when and why, rescue techniques, plus video demos and hands-on ultrasound skills stations. Aimed at Emergency Doctors and Acute Physicians. Also suitable for ACCS and Core Anaesthetic trainee doctors.
A course with lectures delivered by practicing Consultants in Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine who are experienced in the effective use of sedation and regional blocks in the Emergency Department.
How to do the Blocks: Videos, Demos and Skill Stations. A step by step guide with video clips followed by group tuition and supervised hands-on practice at ultrasound skills stations with models. The lecturer/demonstrator and skills station facilitators are anaesthetists from a wide range of hospitals.
