This exciting meeting, “LUPUS: Gateway to the Future” will highlight advances and insights from recent SLE research into the causes and outcomes of SLE, explore the promise of implementing a personalized approach to diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment, and provide a forum to hear exciting and innovative research from a new generation of investigators. The Congress will span the disciplines dedicated to improving outcomes in SLE, from basic and translational science through epidemiology and outcomes research.

The first day of the Congress will highlight major advances and insights gained from recent research initiatives in SLE. The second day will focus on precision medicine, including opportunities and challenges associated with implementing a personalized approach to diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of lupus. The final day of the Congress will be a celebration of the future, with presentations featuring the most exciting research by young and mid-career investigators from every corner of the world and across the spectrum of disciplines in lupus research.

The Golden Gate Bridge is emblematic of San Francisco as a world-class city that has looked to the future from its very beginning. “Lupus: Gateway to the Future” will highlight the breakthroughs and the investigators who are responsible for them that will transform lupus treatment in the years to come.

San Francisco lies at the center of a dynamic metropolitan area.
