It is with a great deal of enthusiasm and expectation that I invite you to join us for the 13th ICSES 2016. This triennial congress has proven to be an ideal venue for the communication and exchange of the latest knowledge in the field of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. This international meeting will be another superb opportunity for those interested in shoulder and elbow surgery to communicate, teach and learn from colleagues who attend from around the world. 

I am excited that our hosts the Korean Organizing Committee has planned a unique meeting that will for the first time include live surgery as well as the traditional venues. The Congress will be held at Jeju Island, one of Korea’s premier resorts. Jeju offers a wide variety of recreational activities for all to enjoy and relax. Abstracts should be written in English in a grammatically correct manner.

Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted and will not be edited in any way.

Linguistic accuracy is the responsibility of the authors.

Abstract title

- Abstract titles should be less than 30 words.

- The abstract title should be short, informative and contain the major key words.

- The first letters of all words except for articles, prepositions, and conjunctions, should be in capital letters. All other letters should be in lower case.

There is no set form or word limit for the submission of symposium, CCR and ICL abstract.

Please upload one of your abstract files (PDF, PPT or Lecture Note).

Names and affiliations of authors must be listed.

Please be sure to list the names of all co-authors, including the presenter, to prevent any omissions in the abstract file.

The maximum number of authors is 10 per abstract.

If an author is affiliated with a hospital as well as university, please enter the name of the hospital for which he/she works.

Please make sure to fill in the correct contact phone number, mobile phone number (Korea only) and e-mail address of the presenter.

The abstract submission deadline will be informed later

Presenters and corresponding authors will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of the abstract(s). In the case that a confirmation email is not received within 24 hours, please contact the secretariat.

Abstract Titles

- Abstract titles should be less than 30 words.

- The abstract title should be short, informative and contain the major key words.

- The first letters of all words except for articles, prepositions, and conjunctions, should be in capital letters. All other letters should be in lower case.

Abstracts are limited to 350 words

- Abstracts should be structured into the following headings: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions.

- The case report should be written in the following format: background, case presentation, discussion (or conclusion).

- Figures, tables, graphs and images are not allowed.

- References and keywords must not be included.

Names and affiliations of authors are to be listed.

Please be sure to list the names of all co-authors, including the presenter, to prevent any omissions in the abstract file.

The maximum number of authors is 10 per abstract.

If an author is affiliated with a hospital as well as university, please enter the name of the hospital for which he/she works.
