Submission Info

Over 10,000 endocrinologists will be at ICE/ENDO 2014, making it a great venue for presenting your latest Clinical Trials Research. Clinical trials accepted for abstract presentation at ICE/ENDO 2014 may also be submitted for expedited review as manuscripts to The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism (JCEM) through the Clinical Trials Express program. Contact Dr. Elizabeth Reichl atereichl@endocrine.org for additional information.

Reporters look to ENDO to keep informed of the latest clinical trials. Newsworthy trials are featured in news conferences and in the Research Summaries Book, a resource exclusively for reporters attending ENDO highlighting the most exciting presentations at the meeting. ENDO 2013 drew more than 70 reporters, both on-site and online. Media coverage from ENDO 2013 resulted in 2,490 separate news stories in media outlets including: The New York Times, ABC News, Fox News, Boston GlobeU.S. News & World Report, and Prevention.

REASONS TO SUBMIT

ICE/ENDO is the ideal venue to share research and exchange ideas. More than 3,000 abstract presenters are expected this year. Submit your best scientific research for oral, poster, and poster preview presentations.

Poster Previews are Back

Poster presenters with high-scoring abstracts will be invited to give a brief (3 minutes/3 slides) preview of their poster. Presentations are meant to provide the background and hypothesis of the research and entice the audience to the poster sessions to hear the conclusions and results. Sessions will take place at the beginning of extended oral sessions, on the same day as the presenter’s scheduled presentation.

Even More Exposure for your Work

All accepted abstracts will be published in an online supplement to Endocrine Reviews – the number one ranking journal in JCR’s Endocrinology and Metabolism category, with a 2012 Impact Factor of 14.873.

ABSTRACT GRADING

Abstracts are reviewed, graded and accepted or rejected by the Annual Meeting Steering Committee.  Approximately 10% of the top-scoring abstracts from each category are selected for oral sessions.

The number of oral session allocations is determined by the available space and the number of abstract presenters requesting oral presentation in each category. The remaining accepted abstracts are scheduled for poster presentation sessions. High-scoring abstracts selected for poster presentation may also be selected for poster preview.
