▸  Fellowship in Respirology at UBC
▸  Research training in the areas of Ventilatory Muscle abnormalities and in 
    Respiratory Sleep Disorders supervised by Dr. John Fleetham at UBC.
▸  UBC Faculty member since 1988: Professor in Department of Medicine at UBC
▸  Clinical activities include general Respirology with a focus on Cystic Fibrosis.
▸  Medical Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at UBC 
▸  Co-Director of the UBC Scleroderma Respiratory Clinic
▸  Medical Director, Pulmonary Function Laboratory for Providence Health Carer
▸  Undergraduate Teaching Program in the Department of Medicine where he has received several teaching awards in recognition of this.
▸  Very involved in CME presentations locally and nationally.

▸ Acting Head, Div.of Respirology, Medical Director of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and the Medical Intermediate Care Unit at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. 
▸ Prof. of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine - Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS
▸ Co-chair: Canadian Thoracic Society COPD Clinical Assembly 
▸ Chair: Adult Respirology Examination Committee of the RCPSC
▸ Completed training in Internal Medicine & Respirology—McGill University. 
▸ His main clinical and research areas of interest are COPD, pulmonary   rehabilitation, pulmonary hypertension, and clinical practice guidelines.
