19TH ASIA PACIFIC LEAGUE OF ASSOCIATIONS FOR RHEUMATOLOGY CONGRESS

It is a pleasure to invite you to join us at the APLAR 2017 in Dubai.
Wide-ranging in its approach and comprehensive in scope, APLAR 2017 will present a vital scientific programme of high-level plenaries by a distinguished group of international, regional, and national experts, interactive symposia on contemporary trends as well as symposia organized by Special Interest Groups of APLAR, a review course, poster discussion and debates on hot topics.
Thus, the 2017 Conference will need the collaboration and cooperation of individuals from many rheumatologists in the Asia Pacific region and from all over the world.
The Congress will offer plenty of networking opportunities, providing you with the opportunity to meet and interact with the practitioners and clinicians, academics and scientists, nurses and allied health professionals as well as sponsors and exhibitors.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
· Rates are per room, per night, in US Dollars and are inclusive of 10% municipality fees and 10% service charges.
· Rates are inclusive of Tourism Dirham Fee of AED 20 room per night.
· Rates are inclusive of daily buffet breakfast.
ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION POLICY:
All cancellations must be electronically mailed. Refund of accommodation fee will be as follows:
· Till June 30 – 100% refund
· July 1 till 17, 2017 – 75% refund
· From July 18, 2017 – No refund

All Abstracts must be submitted before June 30th, 2017
The online submission system to be closed at 24:00 hours by June 30th 2017.
All Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Abstracts must be written exclusively in English.
There are 2 modes of presentation: Oral and Poster presentation. The Scientific Committee will identify which abstracts will be selected for oral presentation and which abstracts will be presented as posters.
Abstract must be limited to 250 words and must be concise and clear, highlighting the most relevant aspects, findings and conclusions. The word limit for the abstract title is 20.
Use only standard abbreviations. Special or unusual abbreviations are not recommended. If otherwise necessary, the latter should be placed in parenthesis after the first appearance of the full word, except for unit symbols. Numeral rather than words may be used to indicate numbers.
Section breaks are not mandatory.
References are not required for abstract submission.
Inclusion in the Congress proceedings is dependent on payment of registration fees.
The abstract must contain original research material, not be published or presented at any other international congress prior to APLAR 2017. The submitted abstracts will remain property of APLAR 2017 Congress. the Scientific Committee reserves the right to publish and distribute.
