On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 1st International Congress of Hypertension in Children and Adolescents (ICHCA) to be held in Valencia, Spain, 9 – 11 February 2018. Hypertension in children and adolescents has shown exponential growth in many countries throughout the world and there is a compelling need to address this epidemic by promoting education,  research, and scientific exchange. The Congress has been designed to provide an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in hypertension in children and adolescents that are relevant to both paediatric and adult internists, cardiologists, nephrologists, endocrinologists, pharmacologists, epidemiologists and scientists.


Many distinguished clinicians and scientists have joined the faculty and will take part in this Congress. Papers will be presented in the form of plenary sessions, symposia, workshops, oral presentations and posters and will include superb scientific material that will be carefully selected by the Scientific Abstract Review Committee.


We would like to encourage the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industry to generously support the congress in this very important field of child and adolescent health.
