It gives me great pleasure to invite you to join international delegates at the IFPA meeting 2014, in collaboration with the European Placenta Group, to hear about cutting edge placental research from around the world with an emphasis on the fetal-placental-maternal cross talk and pregnancy outcome.
I will be delighted to welcome you to Paris, the city of my birth. The meeting will be held in a historical University setting in the heart of Paris: Les Cordeliers, for centuries a center of thought. Indeed, before being dedicated to research and medical training, it was an important center of religious education in the Middle-Ages, and later became one of the most famous political clubs of the French Revolution.
Therefore I am sure that it will offer a favorable environment for developing new research ideas and new collaborative projects promoting the field of placental research and fetal-maternal health.
