Event Overview
Welcome message:

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It gives us great pleasure to announce the 3rd Singapore Rehabilitation Conference, which will be held from 27 to 29 March 2014 at the Academia Building, Singapore.

The Committee has put together a stimulating scientific programme that features a combination of plenary lectures, scientific paper presentations and workshops, with guest speakers from the US, UK, and Australia in addition to our renowned local and regional experts. Themed "Rehabilitation in the Continuum of Care", the programme is designed to be wide-ranging and comprehensive and will not only cover the traditional broad fields of Neurological and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, but also focus on synergies in rehabilitation care, taking inter-professional collaboration across the various levels of rehabilitation services within acute hospitals, community hospitals, nursing homes, as well as outpatient rehabilitation facilities.

We are confident that this Conference will pave the way for the interdisciplinary rehabilitation health care team to network and share their knowledge and skills, as we help patients optimize their function in an inclusive and holistic environment.

In addition to the comprehensive scientific programme, this Conference will also offer you ample opportunities to explore the most vibrant city in South East Asia, Singapore. Cosmopolitan, multi-cultural, and served by the top-rated international hub of Changi Airport, you will be enthralled by the multitude of entertainment and leisure options available. The Academia, a building dedicated to education and research with conferencing capacity for up to 900 is within the SingHealth Outram Campus. It is easily accessible by public transportation including the MRT trains (Outram Station), and is situated near Chinatown and the exciting activity-packed Singapore River.

We look forward to welcoming you at our event for an exciting 2.5 days of education and scientific exchange.

Yours sincerely,
