2015 PATIENT SAFETY CONGRESS & AWARDS
International Convention Centre (ICC Birmingham) #
Birmingham, UKOne of the strengths of the healthcare community lies in its ability to share work, ideas and experience to continuously improve care and patient outcomes.
Over the last eight years, pressure has only increased on the NHS. With time out of the office increasingly scarce, the Patient Safety Congress remains one of the key events in the diaries of over 1000 professionals striving to improve safety and quality in their organisation.
This year Health Service Journal and Nursing Times have taken over the event, providing an opportunity to bring together practitioners and policy makers, joining the audiences of the Congress with the Patient Safety Awards for the first time ever. The Patient Safety Congress and Awards, taking place 6th and 7th July, mark the marriage of the leading events that will both celebrate and spread best practice in safety internationally.
The Patient Safety Congress and Awards aims to transform the UK’s approach to delivering high quality care. It champions patient safety as the organising principle of a healthcare ecosystem which is truly efficient, effective and able to offer the best experience to patients and carers. It will be the only event to combine industry-leading examples of patient safety best practice and innovation, with the business case for safety. Attendees will learn from the very best how to save both lives and money.

The event encourages and enables sponsors to have a high level of debate and interaction with a senior audience in a year round campaign of activity by utilising the Congress, Awards, HSJ and Nursing Times. HSJ and Nursing Times will launch an online patient safety channel in February.
