Event Overview
Welcome message:

The aim of our activity is to improve the fund of knowledge of interventional cardiologists regarding the benefits of the invasive assessment of coronary physiology, and in particular, FFR to guide PCI. This conference will target interventional cardiologists and cardiovascular medicine fellows to evaluate and discuss the background of coronary physiology, literature supporting the use of FFR to guide coronary stenting, cost-effectiveness of FFR and to consider the practical aspects of incorporating FFR into various patient populations and procedural subsets.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This international conference is intended to meet the needs of interventional cardiologists, cath lab nurses, and radiology technicians.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to evaluate the role of coronary physiology assessment in guiding the decision for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). In particular:

Review the data supporting the role of FFR in guiding PCI.

Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of measuring FFR.

Assess the practical aspects of routinely performing FFR measurement during PCI and incorporate into daily interventional practice.
