2016 GENITOURINARY CANCERS SYMPOSIUM
The Symposium Cosponsors, the Moscone West building, and all official Symposium hotels comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you require special assistance, please contact the Genitourinary Cancers Symposium Customer Service Center at guhousing@spargoinc.com.
Age Requirement for Attendees
Because of the detailed nature of the programs and forums, no one under the age of 18 will be admitted to any official Symposium function. This includes, but is not limited to, all Symposium sessions, the Posters, Exhibits, and Food Service Room, and all evening events offered by the Symposium Cosponsors.
Important Security and Attendee Conduct Information
For security reasons, the 2016 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium badge will be required for admittance to all events. Please wear your badge so that it can be easily seen at all times. Lost badges should be reported to the Registration staff immediately. The following badge policies will be in effect throughout the Symposium:
The 2016 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium badge is the sole property of the Symposium Cosponsors.
The badge is nontransferable.
False certification of individuals as paid Symposium attendees, misuse of badges, any method of assisting unauthorized persons to gain access to any Symposium event, or any inappropriate or unauthorized conduct will be just cause for repossessing badges of any individuals involved and expelling all parties involved from the Symposium without obligation on the part of the Symposium Cosponsors for refund of any fees.
In addition, individuals who are part of the 2016 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium may not engage in any demonstrations or other behavior that the Symposium Cosponsors deem to be potentially disruptive to the conduct of the Symposium. Violation of this rule is grounds for immediate dismissal from the Symposium and/or ineligibility for attendance at future ASCO meetings or symposia. Any person who is dismissed from the Symposium may request that the Symposium Cosponsors review the matter, provided, however, that such dismissal will be effective immediately and will continue until and unless the Symposium Cosponsors issue a contrary decision.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Prior Publication: For a study to be eligible for acceptance to the Genitourinary Cancer Symposium, the contents and conclusions of the abstract must not be presented at any scientific, medical, or educational meeting of 500 registrants or more, or be published in a scientific, medical, or educational publication (in any medium), in whole or in part, before the Symposium. The exception to this is presentation at the cosponsoring societies’ Annual Meetings (please see section 9 for more information).
First Author Disclosure: Author disclosure must be declared at the time of abstract submission. If the first author is employed by a company as defined by the CMSS Code for Interactions with Companies (see below), an alternate presenter who does not have a relevant employment relationship must be named if the abstract is selected for presentation in an oral abstract session.
Company as defined in the CMSS Code for Interactions with Companies, is, “a for-profit entity that develops, produces, markets, or distributes drugs, devices, services or therapies used to diagnose, treat, monitor, manage, and alleviate health conditions. This definition is not intended to include non-profit entities, entities outside of the healthcare sector, or entities through which physicians provide clinical services directly to patients.”
Submission Fee: A nonrefundable $60 administrative fee, payable at the time of submission, will be charged for all abstract submissions.
Abstract Change Deadline: Following the abstract submission deadline, first authors may request corrections to rectify errors (e.g., typos, misspellings) within abstract submissions. Requests must be submitted to gusymposium@asco.org by November 18, 2015. Updates to original data will not be permitted, as changes are permissible only for the correction of errors.
Abstract Withdraw Deadline: If a first author chooses to withdraw his or her abstract for any reason, a request must be submitted by November 18, 2015, to gusymposium@asco.org. Any abstract withdrawal request received after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis and cannot be assured removal from the 2016 Genitourinary Cancer Symposium Proceedings.
Confidentiality Policy: Submitted abstracts are considered final and both CONFIDENTIAL and EMBARGOED from the time of submission. Compliance with the Confidentiality Policy by all parties related to the abstracts is the responsibility of the first author, and the first author will be held accountable for any violation of the ASCO’s Policy.
Prior to the information being publicly released in conjunction with the Genitourinary Cancers Symposium, the author, coauthors, sponsor of the research, journalists, and others may not:

Publish or present the information or provide it to others who may publish or present it, or
Use the information for trading in the securities of any issuer, or provide it to others who may use it for securities trading purposes.
For a study to be eligible for acceptance into the Genitourinary Cancers Symposium, information contained in the abstract, as well as additional data and information to be presented about the study at the Symposium, must not be disclosed by any party before the findings have been publicly released in conjunction with the Symposium. If information from the abstract or additional study data are disclosed in advance of public release, the abstract will be subject to rejection or removal unless an official Confidentiality Policy Exception applies.
We encourage all attendees to visit the exhibits at the Genitourinary Cancers Symposium.
