We invite you to join us July 30 - August 4, 2016, in Telluride, Colorado, for the 7th World Congress on Wilderness Medicine! We are pleased to be offering this advanced program in conjunction with the International Society of Mountian Medicine (ISMM). Our host hotel, the Madeline, offers a lovely accommodation in the heart of Telluride for this premier CME event. Many sessions will be conducted in the beautiful Telluride Conference Center.
This conference is designed to appeal to all austere medicine enthusiasts, novices to veterans, of diverse medical backgrounds. Participate in the pre-conference activities that include courses in Tactical Combat Causality Care and the internationally recognized Diploma in Mountain Medicine (DiMM). The International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation has also put its stamp of approval on this outstanding conference. Join us in Telluride, Colorado for this year's jointly sponsored WMS/ISMM World Congress in Wilderness and Mountain Medicine. This premier summer event will highlight research and advances in topics covering altitude medicine and physiology; wilderness medicine; mountain rescue; and global/environmental medicine.
Whether you are new to the WMS or ISMM or a seasoned fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM), Telluride has something for you—along with world class hiking, mountain-biking and outdoor activities in a glorious, summer, mountain setting. On July 30th and 31st, we present pre-conference courses dedicated to Tactical Combat and Casualty Care (TCCC), Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS) certification course, and we will continue with our Diploma in Mountain Medicine (DiMM) program.
Take the time this summer to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. Sharpen your skills and advance your knowledge.
