You are invited to attend the largest international gathering of pulmonary hypertension (PH) community members in the world. PHA’s 2018 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions will bring together nearly 2,000 people with PH (both newly-diagnosed and long-term survivors), families, caregivers, PH-treating health care professionals and researchers. This event is held once every two years, and 2018 marks the 13th year that PHA has hosted the PH community.
PHA’s 2018 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions will be held June 29 to July 1, 2018, in Orlando, Florida, at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.
To provide a safe, nurturing and interactive space to help people living with PH — and their families and caregivers — feel more empowered.
To share tips and resources on improving the quality of life for people living with PH.
To disseminate knowledge about the latest advancements in research, treatment and care through medically-led sessions and an abstract poster hall.
To contribute to future research that could lead to new discoveries through participation in the Research Room.
To unite the PH community through the theme of PHinding Your Hope and celebrating the achievements that have helped people with PH live longer, healthier lives while looking toward the future and what’s on the horizon.

PHA’s 2018 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions in Orlando, Florida on June 28-July 1, 2018 will feature a poster hall in conjunction with its medical education activities. Abstract submissions are invited in the areas of basic science, clinical science and case studies. Four abstracts will be selected for publication in PHA’s quarterly medical journal, Advances in Pulmonary Hypertension, and two of those will be acknowledged as the most meritorious presentations in each of the basic science and clinical science categories. Format – Abstracts should be no more than a single page, excluding space for tables and figures when formatted using:
Times New Roman font
Minimum font size 11
Single spaced rows
One inch margins
Content – The online submission form requires:
Title of Abstract
Authors, Institution and Institution Location (City, State or Province and Country)
List all authors in the order you would like them to appear in the program book.
The deadline for abstract submission is March 2, 2018.
Authors should submit abstracts to the Scientific Sessions Committee online. PHA no longer accepts email submissions.
Please designate whether the abstract should be considered for the Clinical Science, Basic Science, or Case Study category.
Accreditation – For the first time, CME/CE will be available for attendance and participation in poster sessions. Contact information, an updated CV, relevant disclosures and a signed continuing education agreement will be collected for the presenter of each accepted poster.
Notification – Abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Sessions Committee. Acceptance will be sent to the main point of contact by email along with additional information about the poster presentation format and selection of oral presentations. The text of the accepted abstracts will be printed in the program book provided to Scientific Sessions attendees.

Recognized Sponsorship Levels
PHA is pleased to recognize sponsors of PHA’s 2018 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions at the following levels:
Sponsorship levels will be based on the total amount of funding committed to sponsorship opportunities. The opportunities listed in the prospectus are designed to fit a variety of budgets and may be combined to meet the desired levels. Contributions to the exhibit booths and advertising space will not be counted toward the total sponsorship level.
Recognized Sponsor Benefits
All General Sponsors and higher are recognized prominently before, during and after the 2018 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions as leading supporters of PHA and the PH community through this community-defining event.
In addition to the benefits listed in the sponsor benefit chart below, sponsors of non-accredited programs that include a meal will be recognized with signage, placards on each table, and the sponsor will be offered the opportunity to make brief remarks at the beginning of the program. Some sponsorships offer additional opportunities for recognition; details are specified in the individual sponsorship descriptions.
Sponsorship level must be confirmed and the appropriate advertising, exhibiting or meeting space must be purchased by Monday, May 7, 2018 to take advantage of the benefits listed below, except where otherwise noted.
Individual Item Sponsor
Individual item sponsorships are available on select items. These items are available for anyone to pick up for companies unable to meet the recognized sponsor levels and include sponsor recognition for the sponsored item itself. Select items below $50,000 are available for sponsorship, if an item sponsor selects $50,000 worth of sponsorships or more, they will be placed in the appropriate sponsorship level and receive the benefits listed on page 4. If the total amount is less than $50,000 the sponsor will only be recognized on the item.
