21ST ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL ATRIAL FIBRILLATION SYMPOSIUM
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend the 21st Annual International AF Symposium on January 14-16, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando in Orlando, Florida. The Boston AF Symposium was initiated in 1995 in response to the growing epidemic of atrial fibrillation. Over the past 21 years, this meeting has become a major scientific forum at which health-care professionals have a unique opportunity to learn about advances in research and therapeutics directly from many of the most eminent investigators in the field.
This intensive and highly focused three-day symposium brings together the world’s leading medical scientists to share in a highly interactive environment the most recent advances in the field of atrial fibrillation. The primary objective of the meeting is to provide attendees with a thorough and practical view of the current state of the art in the field of AF in a scholarly and collegial atmosphere. The meeting employs advanced teaching tools including satellite and prerecorded case presentations and interactive audience-response systems to share with attendees the most current basic, translational and clinical science in the field.
In 2014, after 18 years in Boston, the meeting was moved to Orlando, Florida, where we were pleased to offer our attendees, industry partners and faculty the opportunity to be housed in one facility. Located just 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport, The Hyatt Regency Orlando offers 1,641 guestrooms, four on-site restaurants, 105 meeting rooms and 315,000 square feet of state-of-the-art flexible function space including five pillar-free ballrooms, a dedicated convention concierge staff, a full service business center, and world-class exercise and recreational facilities onsite. In 2016, the AF Symposium again looks forward to offering attendees and exhibitors easy and comfortable access to the symposium, housing, and a wide range of amenities, all within a single convention facility. We hope that you will join us for the 2016 meeting.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many exhibitor-only badges do I get?
The number of exhibitor-only badges you are eligible for corresponds to the size of your booth space. You get five badges for every 100 square feet of exhibit space purchased.
Can I purchase an exhibitor-only badge?
No, exhibitor-only badges cannot be purchased. However, each company is entitled to three guest badges each day. It is important to note that guest badges are good for one day only, and you cannot issue a guest pass to the a person more than once during the symposium. Guest passes allow admittance to the exhibit floor only, not into the scientific sessions.
Will an exhibitor-only badge allow entrance to the scientific sessions?
No, only a full professional registration badge entitles admittance to the scientific sessions.
How many complimentary full professional registration badges is my company entitled to?
This also corresponds to the size of your exhibit space—up to 200 square feet entitles you to one full professional badge; 201 square feet or more, entitles you to two. You can purchase additional full professional badges online at afsymposium.com and these badges allow full admittance to both scientific session and exhibit floor.
How do I register for our complimentary full professional badge(s)?
You must use a special form for this, which you will be given soon after you have purchased your booth space. Fill it out and send to Tammy Griffin-Kumpey at tkumpey@amecme.com. Can’t find your form? Contact Tammy.
Can one person pick up all of my company’s badges?
Yes, in fact it is required that one point person be assigned to pick up all of your company’s exhibitor-only badges for your staff, unless you have registered five or fewer staff members—then you have the option of picking up as a group or individually. However, all complimentary (and purchased) full professional badges must be picked up by the person registered to hold the badge.
Can I get a list of everyone who has registered to attend AF2016?
No, we respect the privacy of our attendees so it is our policy to not provide these types of lists.
