Event Overview
Welcome message:

It is a pleasure to announce the 24th conference of the European Wound Management Association, EWMA-GNEAUPP 2014. The conference is organised in cooperation with the Spanish Group for the Study and Advice on Pressure Ulcers and Chronic Wounds (GNEAUPP)

The conference theme

INNOVATION, KNOW-HOW AND TECHNOLOGY IN WOUND CARE

reflects both the technological and also the organisational need for high quality services with the limited resources available in wound care. Health care systems throughout Europe must address the challenges of aging populations, more people living with chronic conditions and therefore a growing demand for optimising wound care with the help of innovative procedures and practise.

Why attend the EWMA conference?

The EWMA-GNEAUPP onferences offers high level scientific presentations, networking activities and it is an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with international colleagues.

By participating in the conference, you

  • Become updated and educated on the most recent knowledge and research within wound healing.
  • Get the opportunity to experience and meet with peer researchers and clinicians.
  • Get the chance to attend a variety of high level key sessions, free papers, hands-on workshops as well as a number of guest sessions performed by other medical societies and project groups.
  • Meet your suppliers and exchange experiences about wound healing products.

In addition to the scientific aspects of the conference, the participants get the opportunity to experience the capital of Spain with its refreshing, unpretentious and dynamic environment.

We look forward to welcoming you in Madrid,

Gerrolt Jukema     Salla Säppanen     Javier Soldevilla
