2013 is the 25th anniversary of the inaugural BSS scientific meeting which took place in Edinburgh. In order to recognise this occasion we have organised a re-launch of the scientific meeting, a forum which will feature updates in adult and paediatric sleep medicine, the latest in sleep science, a ‘year in review’, and key note lectures from Professor Colin Sullivan (University of Sydney), Professor Naresh Punjab (Johns Hopkins School of Public health) and Professor Russell Foster (Oxford University) amongst others.
This meeting will be an ideal forum for the presentation of the latest in sleep research, covering topics ranging from Cognition during sleep, the origin of CPAP to Insomnia and circadian rhythms.
An Invitation to submit abstracts will be issued in early 2013, there will be poster discussion sessions and a small selection of the best abstracts will be presented during a dedicated spoken session.
The British Sleep Society (BSS) is a multi professional organisation for medical, scientific and healthcare workers dealing with sleep disorders. We aim to promote research and education into sleep and its disorders.Edinburgh Sleep 2013, 25th Anniversary Scientific Meeting of British Sleep Society (BSS)
