On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to attend the 26th Annual Meeting of the Asian Society for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (ASCVTS) to be held in Moscow, May 24 – 27, 2018.

The Congress of ASCVTS 2018 will be held in Russia, which is truly Euro-Asian country, for the first time. Moscow, the hosting city, is a city with centuries-old cultural traditions, renowned scientific achievements and hospitable and friendly citizens.

ASCVTS 2018 promises to be a great opportunity for congressional sessions, focusing on the vital problems of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, cardiology, endovascular surgery and related specialties. We hope that the days of the Congress will be marked by interesting lectures, presentations, discussions, debates, poster sessions and master-classes.

Delegates from many countries around the world will share their experience in applying advanced methods of treatment in the field of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, as well as valuable academic researches and cases. A wide-ranging scientific program consisting of lectures, symposia and presentation on the most critical issues challenging the most knowledge-intensive field of medicine will be covered. Moreover, the postgraduate course in conjunction with the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) focusing on cutting-edge technology and innovation in cardiovascular surgery will also be in the Program. Every program and session of this event would be carefully designed to provide a meaningful and fruitful content to all the participants.

Along with the extensive scientific program, delegates and guests of the Congress will be able to get acquainted with the traditions and cultural heritage of the state of Russia, visit museums and concert halls, theatrical and circus performances.

The Opening Ceremony of the 26th Congress of ASCVTS will be held in the premises of the world-famous State Bolshoi Theater of Russia and will be followed by the ballet performance of Herman Severin Levenskiold "La Sylphide".

The Organizing Committee is confident that ASCVTS 2018 will bring innovation and further advancement in the scientific level and quality of the field of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. It will stimulate further cooperation between well-known professionals and those who are just at the entrance of their threshold of expected success.

Abstract submission deadline 2018-03-20

If the submitter of an abstract is different from the presenting author, the presenting author’s information is required.

To receive information on the session related to your abstract, correct contact information must be provided.

Step 2

Only up to ten co-authors will be included in the abstract book of ASCVTS 2018.

If the presenting author and corresponding author are not the same person, the corresponding author’s information is required.

Step 3

Abstracts should be typed in English and are limited to 300 words in total.

Abstracts should be structured with objective, methods, results and conclusions.

No tables and images are allowed.

You may choose a maximum of five keywords. Please refer to the following options: Keyword.

Step 4

ASCVTS 2018 offers "AATS Foundation Award", "ASCVTS Furuse Award" and "Travel Award" to applicants.

It is not possible to apply for an award(s) after the abstract submission due date.

Step 5

All abstracts must be submitted via the ASCVTS 2018 website only.

A confirmation of the receipt of your abstract will be automatically sent to you and the corresponding author by e-mail upon completion of the online submission.

Please note!

If you do not complete the submission process, your information will be held in temporary storage until you return later to complete your submission. Your submission must be completed before the submission deadline to be considered for the congress.

Submitted abstract(s) should not already have been published in a journal or presented at another meeting.

The acceptance of abstracts will be notified by e-mail to the presenting authors by no later than February 20 (Tue), 2018.

Upon acceptance of your abstract, the presenting author is expected to register and present the abstract at the scientific session or scientific exhibition. Your abstract will be published in the abstract book only if the presenting author is registered with full payment by March 20 (Tue), 2018.
