Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, 

Dear Colleagues,


We are very pleased to host the Pediatric Neurosurgery Section Conference for the third time in Göttingen on the 6th and 7th of April 2018 and ask you early for consideration in your planning.


The main topics were selected by us as usual during the last section meeting and mostly on the topics


Care of infants with brain tumors in the first year of life

Early care of the MMC

Cranioplasty and fixation techniques in childhood

Pitfalls surgical approaches in childhood

established. By choosing a program we are currently focusing on central topics and again encourage younger colleagues with an interest in pediatric neurosurgery to actively participate. We look forward to a new exchange of ideas with you in Göttingen. This time it was possible to better take into account the scheduling in relation to the pediatric neurosurgery course, the DGCH / DGKCHI annual congress in Berlin and the DGNC annual congress. We have also succeeded in gaining the meeting house "Alte Mensa am Wilhelmsplatz" as the venue for the section conference, so that you can take a further local look into the history of the Georg-August-Universität.
