ECNP members joining the congress have some special privileges:

Pay a reduced registration fee (discounts of up to 33%)

Bring one junior scientist to the 29th ECNP Congress for the very low registration fee of EUR 100. You simply need to fill in the e-mail address of the junior scientist on the registration form and this person will receive an e-mail with an unique code which he/she can use when registering. 

If you have already registered, please open the link received in the registration confirmation e-mail and fill in the e-mail of the junior scientist. This person will then receive by e-mail a unique code to be used by him/her when registering for the congress.

Ability to propose brainstorming sessions (deadline for submission of proposals is 15 January 2016).

Please note that when you submit an abstract, you are required to register for the 29th ECNP Congress no later than 2 weeks after the abstract submission deadline. Otherwise the submitted abstract will not be reviewed for poster presentation and publication in the supplement to the journal European Neuropsychopharmacology. 

Please note: 

Abstracts will be considered for publication (after the congress) and/or poster presentation (during the congress) provided they are submitted according to the guidelines for abstract submission poster presenters. 

In addition to the abstracts submission guidelines there are four examples of model abstracts available which meet important criteria of a good scientific abstract. 

Both the guidelines and the examples can also be accessed during the abstract submission process.

Every ECNP Congress is accompanied by a medically oriented exhibition. ECNP considers the exhibition an important factor in contributing to the Congress’s educative function, by allowing physicians to gain access to information and advice. 

ECNP would therefore like to invite companies and organisations involved in the science and treatment of disorders of the brain to present their services, products and/or literature at the medically oriented exhibition, which will be held simultaneously with the congress from Sunday 18 September to Tuesday 20 September 2016 between 09.00-17.00. 

The exhibition will take place in Hall X2 of the Austria Center Vienna. 

Coffee and lunch will be served in the exhibition area, thus ensuring maximum contact between exhibitors and participants. Coffee and lunch will also be served in the poster area, located next to the entrance of Hall X2. 

ECNP will make initial stand space assignments for applications received on or before 15 December 2015, taking into account the restrictions of the congress venue and, as far as possible, the applicants’ preferences. 

After the initial stand space assignment has been finalised, the remaining space (if available) will be allocated to late applications.
