The 2nd edition of International Conference on Advances in Medical Science (ICAMS) returns after a span of 2 years. The inaugural edition was successfully conducted in 2013. The 2nd edition of ICAMS strives to bring together academicians, researchers and industry players of various medical disciplines to highlight their research at international level. A wide range of disciplines are covered in ICAMS. This 3-day conference has workshops, plenary sessions, symposiums, oral and poster presentations besides gala dinner and entertainment programme.


Participants may submit any abstract which covers any of the following areas:
Natural products
Bone metabolism and osteoporosis
Cardiovascular system
Stress enzyme and hormones
Infectious disease
Genomics and proteomics
Pharmacology and toxicology
Medical education
Any other medical discipline

Abstracts will be published in ‘Research Updates In Medical Sciences’ journal. E-ISSN:2289-2141. Efforts are also being made to have full length papers published in renowned international journals. Details may be available later.

General Info:

Registration fee includes admission to all sessions, morning and evening coffee/refreshments, lunch, cultural evening with gala dinner, printed final program and handouts.

Participants registering as student should send documentary evidence from the head of the institution/ department as a proof. This evidence may be e-mailed while submitting the abstract.

Participants registered as student are not entitled for cultural evening with gala dinner. An extra RM100/USD50 fee may have to be paid if any student participant wishes to attend. The accompanying person fee is RM200/USD100 per person

Participation of pre-conference workshops on the 14th April 2015 will require an additional RM100/USD50 participation fee.

Participants from outside Malaysia are required to register as overseas delegate and pay at USD rate. Please check with your bank for any amount deducted through intermediate bank transfer. The organising committee reserves the right to realize the deficit amount deducted through intermediate bank transfer.

Submission Info

Please download the abstract template and comply with the template. Conference delegates are allowed to submit a maximum of 2 (TWO) abstracts. The abstract must be single-spaced and in upper and lower-case letters. The body of text must not exceed 250 words. Use Arial font size 12 for text.

Abstracts should be structured under the following subheadings: Aims/Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusion. Tables, graphs, figures and charts are NOT permitted in the text.

The title of the abstract must be in upper case. The title should be specific to the content. Use short titles and standard abbreviations (expand at its first instance). Underscore the presenting author’s name and affiliation. Avoid reference to institution names, locations, or funding sources in the body of the abstract.

All abstracts must be submitted in UK English only. Please carefully check all text for errors before submission, as the quality of your submission may affect the outcome of the reviewers’ scoring of your abstract.

Requests for changing the schedule of presentation on a particular day is not entertained.

Registration and submission of abstract must be made using the on-line registration system. Participants are required to register prior to submitting an abstract.  Acceptance or rejection of abstract shall be notified within 2-3 weeks of submission.
