Abstract Submissions
Abstract submission is now open. The abstract submission deadline is Monday, May 9, 2016.
Abstracts must be submitted via the NACFC Abstract Website at http://nacfc2016.abstractcentral.com. An announcement containing the submission link will be available on this site once the abstract submission site opens. Abstracts will not be accepted after May 9. Abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be notified in late July whether or not their abstracts have been accepted. All accepted abstracts will be published as a supplement to Pediatric Pulmonology. Authors who submitted one or more abstracts in 2015 will be informed via email when the submission system opens, and will be given their existing username and password for this system. Accepted Abstracts – Poster Presentation
As an enhancement to the NACFC program, posters will once again be submitted electronically for the 2016 NACFC. E-posters allow participants to view the posters at their convenience during the conference. This will provide increased exposure to authors’ posters, in addition to the poster discussion presentation time during the scheduled NACFC poster sessions. Details regarding e-poster submissions will be included in the acceptance advice to presenting authors.
Accepted Abstracts – E-posters
In addition to being presented in poster form, certain abstracts will be selected for oral Presentation in specific workshop sessions. If an author’s abstract is accepted for oral presentation, they will receive notification with further instructions.

Best Abstract Awards for Junior Investigators
First (presenting) authors of abstracts who are enrolled in a graduate program or, at the time of the conference, are a post-doctoral or clinical fellow are eligible to participate in a competition for two awards: (1) “Junior Investigator Best Abstract in Basic Science Award;" and (2) "Junior Investigator Best Abstract in Clinical Research Award." The five highest scoring abstracts will be chosen for oral presentations during the Junior Investigator Sessions, designed to highlight abstracts by junior investigators in the field of CF basic science and clinical research. The candidate with the best overall abstract and presentation will receive the respective award during the NACFC. Information about award eligibility requirements will be provided on the NACFC Abstract Website during the abstract submission process. If you would like to participate in this competition and you meet the eligibility criteria, select the appropriate option when submitting your abstract(s).
