32nd Annual Sanford H. Cole, M.D., Memorial Ob/Gyn Symposium 2019
Obstetricians and gynecologists have special and important responsibilities in their daily practices to diagnose and manage patients with the most common and most complicated obstetric and gynecologic problems. Staying abreast of medical advances supports implementation of best practices and delivery of high-quality patient care. The Sanford H. Cole, M.D., Memorial Ob/Gyn Symposium provides a platform for national and local specialists to share critical knowledge and evidence-based strategies for innovative screening and treatment approaches to women’s healthcare based on the most recent research results.
Symposium History
Established 30 years ago by Sanford H. Cole, M.D., the annual Ob/Gyn Symposium has grown from its modest beginnings as a half-day program held in the Baptist Hospital Auditorium to a full-day symposium with internationally recognized faculty. Through Dr. Cole’s vision and efforts, world-class educators have come to our community to discuss the newest concepts in obstetrics and gynecology. Generously supported by colleagues, family and Baptist Health, the symposium attracts nearly 200 physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals from local and regional communities.
