All abstracts submitted will be considered for the fourteenth annual Utley Award, named in honor of Joe R. Utley MD, Founder and Director of the Cardiothoracic Research and Education Foundation (CREF). The Utley Award is presented for the best abstract, with preference given to those for which a perfusionist is first author.

The Utley Award recipient will receive the following:
• Free meeting registration
• A new iPad
• A commemorative sculpture
