Event Overview
Welcome message:

“Why go to Hawaii?” is not a question often asked since you may already have the answer. No one would question that Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on earth- a paradise even. Unlimited praises can be used for this unique place in the world starting with the spiritual beauty of the hula over the emerald valleys and golden sands to the visceral power of an active volcano. Our next biennial and 33rd Hawaii Plastic Surgery Symposium is conveniently planned on Saturday and Sunday in February 17 and 18, 2018 to coincide with the “ugly weather” that prevails in most parts of the northern hemisphere where the cold, the ice and blizzard paralyze outdoor activities. So put on your imaginary lei and perhaps mix yourself a real Mai Tai and plan attending our next symposium in February 2018.

We plan another great program with world-renowned speakers. In 2018 we are fortunate to have among the guest Faculty, Melvin Spira, Professor emeritus and former Chairman at Baylor-Houston as well as Mark Granick, Professor and Chairman at Rutgers-NJ, Daniel Del Vecchio, Consultant MGH, Boston, MA; Angela Pratt, Professor and Chief of Ob/Gyn at University of Hawaii-Honolulu, Professor Wong C Choi of Seoul, south Korea, Maurice Nahabedian, Professor and Chairman, Georgetown University, Reza Jarrahy of UCLA-LA, Ash Ghavami of Beverly Hills-CA, Frank Lista of Toronto-Canada, Richard Siegel, Professor emeritus University of Hawaii and a host of many other well-known authorities. The topics will include: what I did right and what I did wrong in my many decades of practice; 25 years of simplified geometric Z-plasty Cleft Lip repair; Fat grafting; Advances in blepharoplasty: Salvaging unsatisfied face lift; The science of stem cells and fat grafting; Breast revision techniques and a 2 hours course on the principles of hormone treatment for men and women; Transplantation; Cosmetic gynecology, genital rejuvenation in male and female and many more. Mark your calendar for the 33rd Hawaii Plastic Surgery Symposium at the Waikiki Prince Hotel, Honolulu-Hawaii on Saturday and Sunday February 17 and 18, 2018.
