34th Mammoth Emergency Medicine Conference
Message from the 2014 Course Directors:
The lecture material is pragmatic, concentrating on practical problems of emergency assessment and therapy through verbal and visual case illustrations. Audience participation and faculty/audience discussion will be encouraged. Presentations have been chosen to display current practices and procedures in Emergency Medicine.
To allow maximum participation and minimize record keeping and note taking a comprehensive syllabus will be presented to each participant. This syllabus contains course material, tables and current extensive bibliography that we routinely distribute on paper syllabi. However, this year we will have the entire program on a thumb drive for those who prefer this media.
The medical Programs are scheduled exclusively during early morning and late afternoon hours. This allows maximum utilization of Mammoth's many recreational facilities for skier and non-skier.
And, as always, discounted lift tickets and lockers for the week of the conference will be available at the opening reception on Sunday March 3rd from 5 to 8pm.
This year’s conference promises to be as solid as ever:
•Same location and incredible Mammoth winter experience
•Same high quality speakers
•Improved housing negotiated rates and options
•New ultrasound workshop options
•Shortest lecture to slope time of any winter EM conference!
•All lectures at Canyon Lodge
•Extended gondola times to accommodate those in the village

About the Village Lodge:
As the fourth and most recent addition to the hotel collection, this impressive condominium hotel and resort plaza ups the ante for lodging in the heart of Mammoth. No other property comes close to this level of quality hotel services day in and day out, and is walking distance to many wonderful restaurants.
The Village Ski Back Trail is accessible near the bottom of Roller Coaster Express and the top of Chair 7 and ends at the corner of Forest Trail and Minaret Road next to The Village at Mammoth. So in other words, you can ski BACK to The Village now!
