3rd Annual Conference of the European Association of Psychosomatic Medicine
Dear colleagues,
We are delighted to announce the third annual conference of the European Association of Psychosomatic Medicine.
EAPM 2015 – Challenges and Chances for Psychosomatic Medicine in Health Care will take place in Nuremberg, Germany, from 02 - 04 July 2015. The conference brings together an international, multiprofessional line up of physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists and other health care professionals to explore the latest advances in psychosomatic medicine and consultation liaison psychiatry.
The program covers a diverse range of subjects. Plenary sessions will be organized covering the following topics: Integrated and collaborative care in the treatment of chronic diseases, Brain-immune interactions, Psychotherapy with the medically ill and The use of new media in psychotherapy and psychosomatics.
Besides the plenary lectures there will be a broad range of symposia, workshops and free paper sessions on different topics. We are looking forward to researchers and clinicians sharing their latest results and clinical experiences.
We continue the tradition of a joint preconference scientific meeting together with the American Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine (APM). At this conference the topic will be “The Art and Science of Communication in Health Care”. Master classes on research in psychosomatic medicine sponsored by the Carus Foundation and clinical courses will complete the programme.
The location for our conference is the city of Nuremberg, Germany, a modern city with 500.000 inhabitants. Nuremberg has a rich and contradictory history. It is the city of Dürer and the city of the Nuremberg trials. Both traditions are well represented in museums and exhibitions. Nuremberg is
definitely worth a visit and we are looking forward to welcoming you here!
We look forward to seeing you in Nuremberg in July 2015.
Yours sincerely
Wolfgang Söllner
