Authors are invited to submit abstracts to be considered for posters at 42nd Hawaii Dermatology Seminar. Posters can only be submitted by registered attendees.

To submit your abstract(s), go to and register as the corresponding author. This website is the journal submission site for Seminars in Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, the indexed journal publishing the accepted Hawaii Dermatology abstracts. There is a link on the lower left hand side of the login page under Abstract Submissions Process and Guidelines; these are easy-to-follow instructions on how to submit the abstract.

Note that the credit card authorization form, available on the abstract submission website, should be emailed to You will not be charged for your abstract until it has been accepted.

Submit your completed abstract by 12/6/2017. You will receive confirmation of your submission through the abstract submission website. The acknowledgement of receipt, acceptance or rejection shall be returned to the person listed as the corresponding author.

Notification of acceptance or refusal for presentation will follow after the poster has been peer reviewed. Acceptance is at the discretion of the meeting Chair and Co-Chairs. Accepted abstracts will be published in an issue of Seminars in Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, an indexed publication.

The first assignments of space will be made to the Educational Grant Supporters who have separately contracted for exhibit space, followed by a first-come, first-served basis and only as long as space remains available.


Payment must be submitted with the application for exhibit space. No application will be processed or space assigned until payment is received. Notification of an exhibitor's decision to cancel must be mailed or faxed in writing on company letterhead to Global Academy for Medical Education (GLOBAL). Full refunds less a $250 processing fee will be granted for cancellations received in writing to the GLOBAL office prior to December 21, 2017. No refund will be granted for cancellations received on or after December 21, 2017, nor after the conference for no-shows. Some sponsors, depending on their level of sponsorship, will receive exhibit space at no charge.
