We invite you to attend the 2018 RSA Annual Conference in Adelaide – Lighting the path to success. Located at the Adelaide Convention Centre overlooking the River Torrens and parklands, the conference will be held from Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 June.
The program will feature renowned speakers presenting on a range of topics including:
Transforming research into health, featuring the renowned South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and the Australian Islet Transplantation Consortium
Supporting women’s health including pregnancy in the renal patient
Providing renal healthcare in remote and indigenous communities

A wide range of clinical content which impacts on the practice of all renal health professionals.

The RSA 2018 Annual Conference will be organised around the theme, “Lighting the path to success”. The conference will be comprised of three concurrent streams designed to offer comprehensive sessions that address current issues in renal care.Time allocated per presentation will be 15 minutes and 3 minutes question and answer time.
Poster Presentations
A formal graphic presentation of a topic. Sessions times will be organised for presenters to be at their posters to discuss their work and receive feedback. Posters should be no larger than A0 size (84.1cm wide × 118.9cm high) and portrait orientation.
RSA Annual Conference Awards
Presenters at the RSA Annual Conference are eligible for the following conference awards, with a total value of nearly $4,000:
Best abstract – $500
Best paper – novice $500
Best paper – advanced $500
Best paper – research $500
Best poster – $500
People’s choice award – paper $200
People’s choice award – poster $200
Environmental Research Prize – $1,000 Guidelines I Suggested topics
Please note:
Best abstract is the abstract that receives the highest score by the Scientific Committee.
Best paper and poster award recipients are selected by a panel of adjudicators.
People’s choice awards are decided by delegate votes.
Awards are presented on the final day of the Annual Conference.
