48th Annual Meeting of the European Pancreatic Club (EPC) 2016
Dear Colleagues
We are delighted to announce the programme for the 48th meeting of the European Pancreatic Club (EPC).
We would very much welcome you to this excellent scientific meeting in Liverpool which promises to be a superb occasion.
The last time the EPC met in Liverpool was the 35th Annual Meeting in 2003 hosted by the President Ole Petersen.
Since then the City of Liverpool has seen tremendous changes which promises to make this meeting even more exciting and enjoyable for you, your co-workers and accompanying persons.
The Liverpool event will host a truly traditional EPC meeting beginning on Wednesday midday and finishing Saturday lunchtime.
Professor John P Neoptolemos, EPC President, 2016.

St. George's Hall
St George's Hall is widely regarded as one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world and is a Grade I listed building. It was reopened in 2007 by Prince Charles after a £23m refurbishment programme.
Built in the early 1800s as a space for music festivals and the Civil and Crown courts, the hall has always been at the heart of community life in the city. It was built as a result of separate competitions to create a fitting space for the aspirational city to hold its music festivals and other assemblies and contains the vastly ornate Great Hall with its vaulted ceiling, Minton tiled floor, replete with maritime and civic symbolism and is also home to a massive pipe organ.
