49TH ANNUAL MEETING OF THE AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR NEUROCHEMISTRY
Dear Colleagues:
On behalf of the American Society for Neurochemistry, I would like to invite you to join us for an outstanding program being presented at the 49th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry in Riverside, California on March 24-28, 2018.
Join us for four days of symposia and colloquia designed to address the four major themes of our Society: 1) Building the Nervous System; 2) Glial Cell Biology; 3) Molecular and Cell Biology of the Nervous System, and 4) Neurodegeneration and Disease. World-class plenary speakers will be announced in early 2017. An important component at ASN meetings is the engagement of our society with trainees, therefore special efforts have been taken to encourage young investigator participation. This includes daily poster sessions, short oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts, trainee lunches with plenary speakers, and numerous travel awards.
The meeting will take place at the Riverside Convention Center, which is located in the heart of historic downtown Riverside and only a few miles away from the University of California-Riverside.. It's seems fitting that Riverside is the home of the California Museum of Photography, given its historic and picturesque nature. Filled with stunning architecture, beautiful palm and orange tree-lined streets with unparalleled sunsets, fountains and sculptures, Riverside is waiting for you to capture it in pictures. Within steps of the Riverside Convention Center and downtown hotels, guests will enjoy Main Street Riverside and its unique boutiques, restaurants & pubs, and specialty dessert shops. Outdoor enthusiasts can bike Riverside's historic trails, and hikers climb its famous mountains, while those looking to rest and relax do so at one on Riverside's many specialty spas. And being the hub of Southern California, the beaches, deserts, Disneyland, and even the snow-covered mountains are only a short drive away.
Please join us in Riverside for what is shaping up to be an excellent meeting in a beautiful and exciting city!
Sincerely,
ParpuraVlad
