On behalf of the organizing committee of the 4th Asia-Oceanian Conference of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine 2014 (AOCPRM 2014), it is my great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you to participate in AOCPRM 2014 in Bangkok, THAILAND - The land of a thousand smiles. 

The scientific programs of AOCPRM 2014 concern the most interesting up-to-date topics and workshops provided by many well-known international speakers covering variety of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. It will be an opportunity for participants to learn the most recent advancement of Rehabilitation and technology, as well as the occasion to bring together the participants from across region and around the region for discussion, collaboration, and networking. 

Bangkok, the city of angel, our participants will have a chance to enjoy our beauty of Thai culture, enjoy shopping, experience Thai food and visit many historical places round the capital city of Thailand.

AOSPRM Presidential Welcome 

Dear Colleagues, 

As President of the Asia Oceanian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 4th Asia Oceanian Conference of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine in Bangkok Thailand. 

The congress has been organised to provide a forum for presentation of research, emerging techniques and innovation in medical rehabilitation in our region. As well as the scientific program, this conference will provide the opportunity for doctors and therapists in our region to network and organise ongoing educational and research exchange. The forum also provides the opportunity to highlight advances in Rehabilitation from basic science, through acute rehabilitation and on to community treatment. 

The conference will also enable delegates to socialise and take the opportunity to experience the unique culture and beauty of Thailand. 

I congratulate the organising committee and look forward to meeting you all in Bangkok.

Abstract Instruction
Please read this thoroughly before preparing and submitting your abstract.

  1. All application materials must be submitted online by Sunday, August 17, 2014, at 11:59pm. Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
  2. Only the primary/presenting author of the abstract will receive e-mail notification of acceptance or rejection. AOCPRM 2014 does not communicate with coauthors. It is the responsibility of the primary author to notify the coauthors of acceptance or rejection. Notification will be sent via e-mail by mid-September 2014.
  3. Primary/presenting authors must register for the AOCPRM 2014 to present their oral presentations or posters. All accepted abstract will be published in the proceeding book of AOCPRM2014
  4. The Research Committee reserves the right to assign presentation times to suit program needs. There will be poster sessions, and posters will be displayed by category. Presenters whom posters have been selected to be in the Guided poster session need to present in the guided poster session of scientific program of AOCPRM 2014. All posters will be display every day in the congress area. Oral presentation will be presented in the free paper session of scientific program of AOCPRM 2014.
  5. The best research submitted and presented will be awarded at the AOCPRM 2014:

    a.Best young investigator award ( age not exceed 40 years old) 
    b.Best Rehabilitation Research from Oral Presentation 
    c.Best Rehabilitation Research from Poster Presentation 
    d.Best Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Research from Poster Presentation 
    e.Best Neurological Rehabilitation Research from Poster Presentation

  6. All presenters need to send the PDF file of their posters and oral presentations for Awards consideration by November15,2014
  7. Abstracts are to be no more than 300 words (not including title or author block).
  8. All research abstracts must include the following:

    a.Objective 
    b.Design 
    c.Setting 
    d.Participants 
    e.Interventions 
    f.Main Outcome Measures 
    g.Results 
    h.Conclusions

  9. Independent peer reviewers will evaluate each abstract based on the components of the structured abstract.
