The 4th Emirates Endometriosis League (EMEL) conference on Endometriosis & Uterine Disorders is to take place in Dubai on the 22nd & 23rd of February 2018. 

In track of the EMEL previous conferences, this event is planned as well to be yet another milestone in the campaigning for better awareness and management of endometriosis in the U.A.E. and the Arab region. No words are enough to describe the utter need for more efforts to improve the quality of care for our patients with endometriosis and pelvic pain. The challenges facing practicing physicians in the domain of endometriosis, local health authorities and the social network are tremendous.  

We, in the Emirates Endometriosis League, hope that this conference, with participation from world leading scientists and clinicians as Prof. C. Chapron (France), Prof. J. Donnez (Belgium) and A/Prof. A. Lam (Australia), as well as prominent regional and national figures, can improve the standards of care for patients with endometriosis in the U.A.E.

This event shall also shed light on important and very actual issues in women's health- Benign Uterine Disorders, such as fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding disorders. Such topics are never the less as important since every other woman suffers from one or more of these benign morbidities.

Call for Abstracts for the 4th Emirates Endometriosis League (EMEL) conference on Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders, In Dubai on the 22nd & 23rd of February 2018. 

The theme for the 2018 Conference is “Benign Uterine Disorders, such as fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding disorders”. 

Up to a third of women have fibroids and many more have some form of abnormal uterine bleeding during their lifetime. It is an appropriate opportunity for us to unlock the issues and controversies.
