4th European Congress on Microbial Biofilms (EUROBIOFILMS 2015)
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the ESCMID Study Group on Biofilms (ESGB) and the Organising Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the EUROBIOFILMS 2015 meeting that will be held in Brno (Czech Republic) from 23 to 26 June 2015. This meeting follows the tradition started with the EUROBIOFILMS meetings organised in 2009 (Rome, Italy) and 2011 (Copenhagen, Denmark) and 2013 (Ghent, Belgium).
Our aim is to provide a platform for all scientists studying basic, clinical and environmental aspects of microbial biofilms to present novel data and to exchange new information on bacterial and fungal biofilms. The multidisciplinary program will cover many topics, and will be balanced between basic, environmental and clinical aspects of microbial biofilms. Many leading scientists in the field will be present as speaker and/or chairperson. Talks will be presented during various plenary sessions, integrated symposia and symposia. On 23 June, several educational pre-conference workshops will be organised.
We strongly encourage you to submit an abstract of your work. In each symposium, four abstracts will be selected to be presented as talks. Other abstracts can be presented in one of the poster sessions. Poster prizes will be awarded for the best basic and best medical poster.
The ESGB and the Organising Committee are making every effort to make this an interesting and enjoyable biofilm conference and we hope to see you in the beautiful city of Brno in June 2015!
Sincerely yours,
Veronika Hola (President of the Organising Committee)
Filipr Ruzicka (Vice-president)
Martin Rulik (Vice-president)
