Dear Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure to offer my warmest greetings to all of you, with whom I have been honored to share the same passion for coloanal disease treatment despite the time and the distance that separate us.
The Korean Society of Coloproctology (KSCP), which has been responsible for the colorectal health of Koreans, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2017. As part of the celebration, the 16th Asia Pacific Federation of Coloproctology (APFCP) and the 5th Eurasian Colorectal Technologies Association (ECTA) conferences in conjunction with 10th Asian Society of Stoma Rehabilitation (ASSR 2017) and Asia South Pacific Ostomy Association (ASPOA 2017) will be held together at the Sheraton Grand Walker Hill hotel in Korea from March 30th to April 3rd. This event will provide an opportunity and time for the members of the society across Europe, as well as the Asia-Pacific region, to unite and celebrate the past 50 years of the KSCP. Furthermore, by visiting Korea this time of the year, you will be able to not only enjoy the beauty of nature in bloom but also get a taste of the enchanting 'Korean wave' and the five thousand years of history and cultural richness that Korea has to offer.
We are confident that this international event will provide a chance to achieve great academic progress and will contribute significantly to improving the health of mankind. Most importantly, extensive academic exchanges and collaborations will take place during this time, friendships will be built, and professional networks will be established. Thus, your support and interest would be greatly appreciated.
